The Nine YearWhat if your life isn’t random-but moving in cycles? For nearly three decades, Franck Boistel built a life through instinct, creativity, and relentless movement-from a childhood in France to a career in global footwear design, from artistic exploration to entrepreneurship, from success to sudden collapse.Every nine years, something ended.
Every nine years, something began again. But understanding the pattern didn’t make it easier. In The Nine Year, Boistel shares an unfiltered account of a life shaped not by clear plans, but by intuition, risk, failure, reinvention, and faith. Through personal stories-family, loss, fatherhood, creativity, financial struggle, and the search for meaning-he explores what it truly means to start over, again and again. This is not a story of success. It is a story of resilience.Of learning to trust when nothing feels certain.
Of letting go when life forces change.
Of continuing forward, even when the next step is invisible. For anyone at a crossroads, facing uncertainty, or questioning their path, The Nine Year offers something rare: Not answers-but recognition.
