Prosecuting Attorney Pippa de Leon needs months to bring down a senator who killed a bicyclist in a hit and run. But a tyrannical judge decides to clear every case off her docket by the first of the year, which means jury selection starts immediately.

Only the jury pool itself creates a problem. An ugly sweater problem. And, weirdly, those sweaters might influence the case.

Shortlisted as one of the best crime stories of the year.
